Fathers and sons.

So last night was the fathers and sons campout for our ward as I'm sure it was for a million other wards out there.  So what do the girls do while the boys camp?  They go to a Dodger game.  :)  So my mom, Becca, Leah, Jimmer, and I went to Chavez Ravine to watch the Dodgers take on the Diamondbacks.  I wore my new Kershaw jersey t-shirt which was especially fitting since he was pitching.  Seven scoreless innings and eleven strikeouts later, it was clear I'd picked an excellent night to debut my new shirt.  :)  In case your wondering, this is the guy I'm talking about.

He's great.  He currently leads the Dodgers with 64 strikeouts.  The next guy has 42.  And did I mention he's only 23?  He's married.  Don't worry.  Anyway, to my dismay they only let him pitch 7 innings despite the fact he had only allowed 3 hits and they had all been in the first inning.  The bullpen proceeded to make things interesting by giving up 3 runs in two innings.  Luckily we still managed to win 4-3.

And afterward we got to sit on the field and watch fireworks!  In case you were wondering, Jimmer loved his first Dodger game.  He was happy pretty much the whole time.

Well that's about it.  Hoping for another Dodger win tonight.  :)

Huh? Jimmer?

The old people I work with really like watching baseball so I've been learning stuff about it. You would be so proud of me. I even knew what an inning was! ;)
