James Taft Fredette

More commonly known as JIMMER.  He scored 52 POINTS last night against NEW MEXICO.  And only one of those points came from the only free throw he shot all night.  No one scores 52 points in a game.  Kemba Walker (another POY candidate) scored 31 last night.  That's nice.  Except for Jimmer had 33 in the first half.

Let's take a look of the records Jimmer set last night.

  • He beat his own record for most point scored in a half by a BYU player.
  • He broke his own record for most points scored in a game by a BYU player.
  • He broke his own record for most point scored in a Mountain West tournament game.
  • And of course he is still holds the all-time scoring record in the Mountain West Conference.
  • And last but not least, he broke Danny Ainge's BYU all-time scoring record.  Jimmer Fredette has scored more points than anyone that ever played at BYU.
Insanity.

Since I know you are dying to see more, here's a video that talks all about it.

And would a post be complete without pictures.  Nope.  So here they are.
