So...I don't have any kids... Thus, I will post about Jim. Back when he started kindergarten (August 2016) I wasn't working, so I went to drop him off at school with my mom. And isn't he the cutest ever?!

Our First Anniversary
So...Brad and I have now been married for 2 years and almost 2 months. But I never told you about our first anniversary. So now I will do that.
Brad tells me my gift was moving into our own apartment the day before after staying with my parents for a few months. And I will admit that was a pretty great gift. Our first anniversary was on a Sunday so we didn't go out to eat. Instead we bought fancy ingredients the night before to recreate our favorite sandwich and salad from Zupa's in Utah. It ended up being very tasty. As seen in the following picture we didn't have any furniture so we created a table with boxes and used camping chairs. It was really romantic.

Then we took a picture on our new stoop. Great quality...I know.
And in case you are wondering...I sure love Bradley. :)

Kenney Family Reunion 2016
One of the highlights of the summer of 2016 was our Kenney family reunion in Park City. We stayed in a huge house just outside of Park City with almost all of my mom's siblings and their families as well as her parents. It was a blast. From watching the Olympics in the theater room to boating and hanging on so tightly that my arms were mega sore for the rest of the week...it was all quite memorable. My cousin Julia took a bunch of pictures including these awesome ones of our family. I love them so much.
And then Brad and I took this picture as we were packing up to leave in our matching shirts. :)

Ingenuity.
Hello to all three people reading this page. Haha. I guess their could potentially be more, but that's how many people Google is telling me looked at my last few posts. But I'm not offended. I promise.
Anyway, let me take you back to the summer of 2016 (because that's where I left off). It was August to be exact. I honestly can't remember what the exact circumstances of the day were. But I took the boys to the pool at Hilltop Park and then they played at the park after the pool closed and Jimmy came up with the following:

I was very impressed that 1) he came up with it on his own and 2) the towel and the knots he tied were strong enough to support his weight. And did I mention he's adorable?

Dallas.
So...I knew Brad would have a 10-day training once he started his job in July. And what do you know...it happened to be in Dallas, TX. In case you forgot, that's where I served my mission. And that translates to: I LOVE DALLAS A LOT. KPMG has offices all over the country (and world for that matter). So they flew all the new hires in Brad's department out to Dallas for a huge training. So I took advantage of the situation and flew out for the last three or four days. I got to see so many people that I love and also got to introduce Brad to some of them. Here are a few pictures from the trip.
I got to see Hermano and Hermana Yanez! They were ward members in my first area. They took good care of us! |
Then I got to see these cute kids! They are so old already! |
Another one because they are SO CUTE! |
And then we let Sadie take a picture so her mom and little sister could get in the picture. |
Then I got to see Meagan and Gabby! We got shaved ice at Bahama Bucks and played a little Trivial Pursuit. |
And then I had to stop by my favorite fruteria and get some agua fresca. They had a special on the huge size...so I got it. :) |
Later I got to visit Dianne and her mom! |
And we got to eat huaraches with the Peregrina family! So glad Brad got to meet them! |
I seriously love so many people from my mission. I am so glad I got the chance to visit! I wish I could have stayed longer!

Hangin' out with the little bros.
Brad started work in July...meaning hanging out 24/7 with my favorite person came to an end. So sad. I wasn't working, so I hung out with the little brothers.
The next day we went to a park we had never been to before. It was a pretty large park and the majority of people there were playing Pokemon Go. That was right after it came out. It was pretty hilarious to watch people staring at their phones standing in groups or wandering around. Anyway, we fed some ducks/geese and played some more catch. And then we took another selfie. So precious. |

Back to Utah.
A few weeks after the Bahamas we drove up to Utah for Brad's old roommate's wedding! Plus, we were going to bring home the rest of our stuff we couldn't fit in our car when we drove home at the end of April. We were up there for a few days and had some time to kill so Brad took me to all the classic Provo spots that I managed to never go to while I was going to school there.
And then we went to Bridal Veil Falls. |
And on the way home, we stopped by the cemetery in Nephi to visit Brad's grandma's grave. She passed away a little over a month before I met Brad. I can't wait to meet her some day! |
